This includes Small (S) – opportunities for local communities, aligning business operations with community life quality improvement; Diversified (D) – opportunities for growth of all forms (More Partners, Products, and Services) through OR’s potential as a platform to distribute diverse business opportunities, growing together; and Green (G)- opportunities for a clean society (Low Carbon Business Areas) by promoting all types of OR’s business to be green business to support the creation of a sustainable low-carbon society and achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, as well as reaching the Net Zero Emissions goal by 2050. Moreover, OR aims to continually monitor and review the OR 2030 Goals to ensure sustainable operations are seamlessly integrated into genuine business practices.
The economic fluctuations have led to impacts on people’s livelihoods in society. Furthermore, technology has been employed to facilitate convenience during the recent crisis. Digital transformation has resulted in various businesses adapting their service models to become more flexible in their operations, promptly meeting consumer needs, providing convenience, and addressing diverse lifestyles. In addition, the repercussions of climate change remain a global concern, posing a challenge for businesses in the current era. It requires them not only to generate returns on investment but also to actively contribute to the well-being of society and the environment for true sustainability.
2023 is considered a year of opportunities and challenges for OR in terms of business diversity. This includes the launch of the xplORe Application, a key digital platform driving OR’s growth in both traditional and future industries through the Online to Offline (O2O) channel. The platform also supports the growth of SMEs, managing operations in both Mobility and Lifestyles businesses to ensure stability and sustainability. Furthermore, OR aims to expand its business internationally, collaborating to create sustainable opportunities and enhance the global potential of the business. This involves achieving success and recognition in the global market, guided by systematic management within and outside the country through the OR Group Way of Conduct. Additionally, OR actively seeks opportunities to collaborate with business partners continuously to address societal and environmental challenges, elevating innovation in the OR way, and fostering sustainable growth together.
From the SDG in Action concept to tangible results, OR is deeply committed to reducing the impact of risks and adapting to climate change. Therefore, clear key action plans have been established to align with Science-Based Targets and drive operations that expand into the value chain. One significant plan is the transformation of PTT Stations to accommodate the energy transition by expanding the EV Station PluZ network. Currently covering every province in Thailand, this success marks the creation of an Electric Vehicle (EV) Ecosystem to meet the public’s needs. Additionally, the Company focuses on transitioning to 100% renewable energy in PTT Stations, emphasizing the creation of “Green Stations” as exemplary clean energy service stations. The prototype for this initiative is the Vibhavadi 62 PTT Station. Furthermore, OR has incorporated the concept of social responsibility into its business operations from upstream to downstream, such as coffee beans sourcing that promotes fair coffee cultivation and trading. This aims to develop the process of sourcing raw materials from the source through collaboration with partners who are prepared to elevate innovation in managing raw materials at the source. OR creates a better quality of life and well-being for farmers, taking care of the communities surrounding its facilities by generating income through food sales to employees and developing livelihoods for the underprivileged through initiatives like the ‘Café Amazon for Chance’ project. Additionally, OR supports community product sales nationwide through PTT Station service stations under the “Thai Det” project and various other initiatives. OR acts as a driving force for bringing goodness to society and the environment.

With a dedicated commitment to Empowering All toward Inclusive Growth, OR expanded its business growth from an exclusive to an inclusive model. The Company implemented comprehensive and transparent risk management and supervision, leading OR to be selected by S&P Global for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) in the Emerging Market Index. In 2023, OR achieved the highest score globally in the Retailing sector and received the most prestigious Best Sustainability Awards from the SET Awards 2023. Moreover, OR obtained the highest “AAA” rating in the SET ESG Ratings for the Resource industry sector in 2023, showcasing pride and reaffirming its dedication to sustainable business operations. This aligns with the three dimensions of ESG and reflects OR’s commitment to creating strength and sustainable growth alongside communities, the economy, and the environment. All of these efforts are in line with the ESG principles and the vision of “Empowering All toward Inclusive Growth” to seize every opportunity to grow together.
